Hey,

Can I ask - anyone got good suggestions for a carrier/wallet type thingie that goes round the neck. Not looking for a full wallet/pouch thing. Just something to hold the park tickets, credit card and some cash.

What do you all use?

Tim

I use a walt Disney works lanyard with a little plastic type holder, it's approx $6 for the lanyard and $4 for the holder:)

My pin lanyard has a little credit card holder on there.

Perfect for KTTW and FPs. Could get a couple of $$ in there, but we just put everything on our KTTWs.

Lanyards would be better than the traditional travel neck pouches you buy as the cords look like they would "cut" into your neck - not literally, but I woudn't be comfortable. A lanyard has a broad, flat strap which wouldnt cause a problem.

Thanks.

Yes the neck strap thing worried me a bit. I have a number of lanyards that would do the job. So guess I need to source a small plastic ticket/card holder thingie then.

Anyone got any good tips? (especially anything on Amazon for ease of ordering)

Tim

Yeah, I guess so.

I'm just such an OCD planner that I have to have *everything* before I go. Because just what if, what if they had all sold out and I couldn't get one.... crazy I know... :)

Crazy? Dpn't be ridiculous .... with that statement you have caused yourself to blend in and merge with the rest of us!

Office supply stores usually sell them (places of employment often use them for ID cards). ;)

I may have started packing for my March trip......just sayin'

Lilac? Tink? Two key words that strike up a smile for me ..... I "need" one too (all of a sudden :rolleyes1). Where did you find that? I have never seen one of those.

We'll be at POFQ so we'll pop over and have a look - or just ask otherwise.

Have you tried putting the lanyard (without the keys on) into the washing machine? You would not believe what I have put through my machine. I usually wash and spin the stuff and then read the label that says "dry clean only" :rotfl2: BUt nothing has ever come to any harm.

tbh, the lanyard is frayed (sp?) so has lived its life, they are not designed to hawked around the way i do, plus its an excuse for a new one :lovestruc

That would be a completely justified purchase. Nobody wants a tatty Tink

I have one of those watertight cases to put a phone/keys/cards/cash etch in for the waterparks and that is on a neck cord. I wonder if I could hook it onto a lanyard as well. I will have to wait for DD to go to sleep tonight so I can borrow hers and check it without arousing any suspicion. :ssst::tiptoe:

wouldnt it react wiht the chlorine in the water??
arent the water park cords designed to be water prrof?

is it me or are there some well wierd threads at the mo? going from sprouts to american van sizes;):lmao:

I didn't think of that. Maybe I will get a cheap lanyard in white from somewhere non-Disney. It is just a comfort thing. I suppose it also depends on the weight in there as to how much pressure it puts on the cord around the neck.

:rotfl2: Where did you find the sprouts?

We got our lanyards off Ebay, and they came with purses matching the character on the lanyard.

They are great for keeping a few $ plus any FP or CC
