DH and I are taking the kids to DW again in June. We are doing the DDP and I alone am in charge of booking ADRs. I am looking for some ideas on restaurants that are more on the level of 'neat' or have really good food as opposed to 'Disney feeling'. We already know we are doing Ohana, Chef Mickeys and DH has requested San Angel Inn. So I need 4 more ideas. TIA

We did 50's Prime Time last year with my own family and my parents and everyone loved it and we all got different entrees - it was yummy AND fun and very neat!

For something you can't get at home - try Sci Fi Dinner Theater at HS. You can sit in 'cars' and watch movie clips from the old drive in theater days. Food is good ( not great ) but the milkshakes are out of this world!

Teppan Edo in Epcot - teppanyaki style dinner ( dinner and a show so to speak ) The food here is fantastic! Fresh and very tasty.

WCC at WL can be a fun night out as well. The BBQ was good last time I was there back 4 years ago.

Biergarten is always fun. It's definitely different.
all three are true, all three are "neat" all three are different. younger kids? sci-fi. older kids 50's. much older kids, biergarten. keep in mind you will be sharing a table with others at biergarten.

Boma at AKL might be a "neat" idea. If you haven't been to AKL before, it is themed totally non-Disney, it is very African, hardly a Mickey in sight:). There are plenty of viewing areas to sit and animal watch.

The food is a buffet with a more unique variety of selections. The desserts are incredible. I have two picky eaters and they both found plenty to eat.

Our absolute favorite restaraunt ANYWHERE is Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk. If you're not a seafood fan, the steaks are outrageously good. they are so accomadating witht he kids, making whatever substitution you like, the waitstaff is outstanding, and the atmosphere is a little fun and funky, while still classy. LOVE IT!!

I would say Crystal Palace at MK. That is a great place and has a very Disney feel to it.
