nearly a month to go until we go, cant wait im getting so excited now. starting the packing :cool1:
ok ive got lots of fab info from all of you here, just need help with a few more questions. any help would be great.

1- its our 5th wedding anniversary while away, is there any where we can buy Disney anniversary badges or cards? either in the UK or MK?
the only thing i can think of is getting a personalised one from Moonpig, but the one i saw cost £8.

2- we're going to DHS one day and im sure ive heard its possible to walk to Epcot from there. we're thinking of going to beaches and cream en route.
roughly how long would the walk from DHS to B&C be?

im sure theres loads more i want to ask, just keep forgetting them. thought id start with a couple for now, while i remember.

thanks in advance :goodvibes

You can get Happy Anniversary badges from Guest Relations at any of the Disney parks for free.

I'm not sure you can walk direct from DHS to EPCOT but I know you can walk to both from the Boardwalk area so you might have to walk via there. Beaches and Cream to EPCOT is just 5 or 10 minutes as far as I know.

thanks for the help :goodvibes

we'll prob walk to beaches and cream from Dhs, i know we could always get a boat or bus but im sure i read walking is just a quick.

thanks for the tip about the badges :thumbsup2

just need to find a decent card.xx :lovestruc

You can walk between both via the Boardwalk - it's gonna take a while though. You could always get the friendship boat and get off at the Yacht Club for Beaches and Cream.

Last year we stayed at POR. When we checked in, I told CM that it was our anniversary. The next day when we retuned from the parks, we found 2 badges in our room and another surprise.

We usually stay at the BCV so do the walk to/from Epcot and DHS quite a bit. We actually find it is quicker to walk than to catch the boat. From Epcot to Beaches and Cream will take 5 minutes from the International Gateway. From Beaches and Cream to DHS 15/20 minutes depending on how fast you can walk!

When we stayed at the Grand Californian at Disneyland last summer I had it noted it was our anniversary on our booking. When we checked in we were given anniversary badges, a bunch of red balloons and a card from Mickey and Minnie.
We will be at AKL for our anniversary this year so I think I'll have our annversary noted on that booking too!

thank you.xx :goodvibes

that walk doesnt sound too bad, we're pushing a wheelchair so will prob walk quicker than average. we're not in a rush that day, so will take our time and may check out the other resorts. :thumbsup2

we booked with Virgin and dont think it was noted on our booking.
we got the balloons on our wedding trip last time.
thanks :goodvibes

Congrats on starting the packing :goodvibes!! Although I always think it's going to be more fun than it actually is, I still wish I was able to start packing myself already :).

Remember too, you can always have a look at Google Earth to see how far a walk is between the parks if you haven't done them before. We skipped taking the International Gateway to the Boardwalk on our first 2 trips, not realising how close it was until I had a peek online :upsidedow.

good idea, i only found out about the international gateway from this board. cant remember seeing it before :goodvibes

im sure i had loads more questions, think ive found most of them out recently from other sections on Dis.:goodvibes
