Near port hotels using priceline

Has anyone ever used priceline to get a hotel near the port? If so what city did you type in and what kind of prices did you get? I am wondering if i put in cocoa beach i will be far from the port just wondering if i should choolse near the airport, of LBV any helpful hints are appreciated

We've stayed at Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach & Ron Jon's the night before our last cruises..we didn't use priceline, just found the rates online & by calling the hotels direct. We'll be staying at Comfort Inn & Suites Cocoa Beach in April the night before our cruise. We got a rate of 89.00 a night plus tax for a suite that sleeps 6. We've never stayed there & don't know how it is yet. We travel with 8 of us so we sometimes need up to 3 rooms. Good luck!! Cathie

We have used Priceline and gotten great rates for both the Holiday Inn Oceanfront and the Doubletree (both 3 star properties). Both hotels were only $40 a night for the room and at the Doubletree we got 2 rooms, each for $40 thru Priceline.

I researched the 3 star hotels in the area and decided I would be happy with any of them so I went ahead and bid....each hotels website were showing rates well over $100.00 at the time
