I really don't understand the OP's venom for asking their questions on the NCL board on Cruise Critic. Yes, they changed their format and yes, it was annoying. At first. But the more you use the board the more you get used to the new format. Cruise Critic has so many members that have cruised on so many different cruise lines, so much valuable information over there. Sorry the OP doesn't see that.

Yes. Just like when they changed the boards here. I hated it at first, now I don't even remember what it used to look like.

This thread is hilarious. The OP said in the first post they tried CC yet pretty much everyone said try CC and now they don't get why that would frustrate the OP. Hilarious!

Personally I can't answer the question. We cruised NCL once and found them to be a mediocre cruise line at best.

No. It’s the fact that the OP is irritated that they’re not getting the info they want here which is not the beat place for that kind of advice. Saying they’ve already tried CC and wasn’t happy with it isn’t going to change that CC would be the bet place to find that info. That’s all previous posters have been saying.

The OP did not say she posted this question in CC, and she didn’t post this question on CC. I’m sure if someone on this board knew the answer to her question, she’d get a response. If she posted on the NCL board, there would definitely be responses.

I’ve seen WDW questions posted on CC, not only would they get more responses here, the information would be a lot more accurate!

Actually, the OP didn't say she tried posting the question on CC, but that she doesn't like the forums there anymore, which is why she's posting here.

Your last part of your response is exactly why people are still suggesting posting this question on CC. While there may be a handful of active CB readers here with experience on NCL, she's going to get 10-15 times the amount of responses on her questions on the NCL board at CC. Nobody's upset about it - they really are trying to help the OP.

I've been a long time member of these boards and Cruise Critic. I can say that I've found a big change in the cruise critic boards over the last few years and can understand why the OP doesn't like to post there.

From what I understand of her previous thread, the OP is a Cruise Critic member but isn't happy with the changes they made to their board. Kind of odd though, this forum made changes too yet the OP got used to the changes here, but doesn't want to at CC.

Maybe the OP is frustrated, but it's frustrating to the people here who know they would get many more answers to their NCL questions THERE than they're getting HERE.

I find it funny that when people post sports questions, no one suggests they post on a sports message board. If someone asks about music or concerts, no one suggests they go to a music board or one for a specific band. But a cruise question and all of a sudden you have to go to a different message board? Plenty of people just don't respond to threads when they don't have experience with that topic. I don't get it.

And I'm one of the snarkiest responders on this board, so I usually have no problem with the snarky responses.

And there are plenty of threads where no one does have the answer, and the threads just don't get responses, and it just fades to the bottom. There's a reason people "bump" when they don't get responses. It's not because dozens of people are telling them to try a different board.

I was thinking more of the room furniture question. People were being helpful offering an alternative that will have more and better answers. I don't know why anyone would get upset about that. Heck, even google would give more info than the Dis.

I’ve definitely seen people suggest these boards for those looking for WDW on CC, no one was offended. It’s like suggesting sites like trip advisor, which folks also recommend for travel questions.

If I know of a better alternative for someone to get an answer to a very specific question, I would generally suggest it. Some of the pretty obscure questions that get asked here, I wouldn't usually know where to start (short of Google).
