They are still calling it a theme park even during this show. :sad2:

I was just coming on to post that, Aaron. Within five seconds of the show's start, they already called it its own theme park. What is up with that? They are already experiencing so many problems handling the crowds and now this special is going to drum up more. How are they going to be able to handle it?

Is it me or are they showing more clips from the films than the world itself?

I don't get why they keep doing that. Even people who LOVED Harry Potter World and the hard core HP fans talked about how small the area is. I read several rave reviews and even in those almost all mentioned something about it being a small area. Some said it's about the size of Fantasyland, how can they call it a theme park?

The web site even lists it as a separate item under "Theme Parks", although it says something like "...at Islands Of Adventure". I can't tell you exactly as the web site is "currently down for routine maintenance", which in the IT world means the server crashed... :)

In 30 minutes, I think they showed about 1-1 1/2's worth of footage of the "world." What a waste. Why do they keep hiding this place?

What's the phrase...'screw up a two-car funeral'.
No mention of size-limits.

Looked to me like this was filmed way in advance so the ONLY things they could film was the storefronts. Seemed like something that should have been on the last DVD as a crappy special feature, not a 30 minute network slot.

That was kinda weird. Where did they get the shots of people walking in the streets of Hogsmede?

I have to say though, if you are a HP fan (and don't have the internet) they did make it all sound very exciting.

I liked when they said "There are different rides for different ages." There are three rides total and only one for kids.

They probably got the facades completed and dressed up some time ago, and had employees and their kids act as guests for filming. It looked staged.

They didn't show one iota of anything else. Most of what they described was illustrated via clips from the movies and some computer animation taken right from the web site.

That's why I think it was filmed well in advance of the press previews, and was just a garbage ad.

Even the shots of the inside of the supposed Honeydukes could have been any candy shop...I didn't see anything HPish about it.

The show was a complete waste of time. I really didn't see anything "Revealed" that's for sure. I think there are going to be a lot of very disappointed vacationers this Summer
