Naything Within Walking Distance in Freeport?

We're on teh 10-5-03 Wonder that stops in Freeport. Looking at the info we have it looks like the International Bazaar is quite a ways from the port and requires a cab ride to get there. Is there anything to do around the port?

I really didn't see much at all around the dock in Freeport....if you are going to take a cab ride then take one to Our Lucaya, its a beautiful resort with a nice pool and beach!

There is a little straw market set up right across from the ship. There are several booths set up with t-shirts, wood carvings, and other souvenirs. It was pretty clean and not very crowded. It's not much, but it was a fun way for us to spend about an hour or so just to get off the ship for a bit.

This was in February '02, I am assuming the market is still there but maybe not??
