Right now I am in a NV but wondering if a good upgrade price is available at the port, if I should upgrade to a cat 6. It is just me and DH. Did anyone find the NV more cozy and romantic than the cat. 6 or would you upgrade if you had the chance???

Ann,

DH and I love the Navigator Verandas. On our first two cruises we had Catgegory 6 but on our 4-day Wonder cruise last May we got a Navigator. The perfect word for it is cozy. Instead of being all open with two chairs it is a little enclosed and has one chair and a padded bench. I spent a lot of time out there in the mornings reading and we had breakfast out there one morning. The only negative I found was that you couldn't sit in the chair and just gaze out at the sea like you can with a plexiglass veranda. In my opinion however the cozy feel, less wind, and more privacy more than makes up for it. We have a Navigator reserved for our May 2003 cruise. Just for fun (and because we didn't have enough points to do otherwise w/o borrowing) we are also going to do an ocean view room on the 2/2/03 SS Member Cruise (for DVC members).
