Navigator veranda vs regular veranda

Is it worth the extra money to book the regular veranda over the navigator veranda on the Alaskan cruise?
The difference in price was about $300.
Wondering if the view is hampered from the room with the navigator.
Do you have to stand-up on the veranda with the navigator balcony to be able to watch the scenery?

We did this room type on our Alaskan cruise and really enjoyed it.
It was great to sit on the side bench and stretch out as we sailed by such beauty.
If 300 is the difference, I may have paid it....
You will love this cruise! Some of the prettiest scenery I've ever seen!

I just booked my first Disney cruise today. Prima donna aka my husband must have a balcony ) So I did a lot of studying today, on them. I personally wouldn't even consider blocking the view on an Alaskan cruise. The sights are not to be imagined or missed. I would absolutely go for the extra $300. In the navigator you must stand to see for the most part. I wouldn't want my view to be impeded. Just my couple o' pennies for thought.

We absolutely LOVED out Navigator's Verandah on our Alaskan cruises with DCL! There is an open oval porthole but the verandah is enclosed - we felt this was the best of both worlds as we both got a great view with fresh air, but also the enclosure gave us nice protection from the elements and felt more private. To see down to the water near the ship you will need to stand, but to see general scenery you are okay to sit - the views were gorgeous going through the fjords! We had room 7126 on both cruises and would definitely book it again! I've never stayed in a regular verandah room on the Wonder so I can't directly compare, but I'd save the 300$ and splurge on something else.
