Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

Forgive me if this has been asked but this thread is too long. I invited my daughter to my account and now I can't manage her reservation! We have 2 rooms booked on a package. I need to manage her reservation so that I can book FP+ for all of us. We are already linked. Everything shows up on my account except her ticket. She is very happy with me managing everything. How do I fix this? Our trip isn't until Nov. Thanks

Can someone please help. I have two accounts for the same friend, however the one with the hotel reservation linked to it on my profile is not the one she is using! Is there anyway i can remove the hotel reservation from my account and start again? I tried to delete the profile my friend did not set up but it says i have to remove them from the plans first i cant see where to do this.

Hope this makes sense to someone!! :rotfl2: :thanks:

I have an HTC T-Mobile G2 phone with Android 2.3.4, I know it's a little old but the My Disney Experience app is the only one that works REALLY slow on it.

Actually it used to work slow, since the last update it became completely unusable!!
It takes longer than before to start and once it does, 8 out of 10 times it is forced to close and gives me an Android error.

Am I alone here ? Is anyone else having this type of issues ?
Our trip starts in 3 weeks and it's really disappointing that we won't be able to use the app to check wait times, our ADR schedules, and everything else... :(

PS: sorry if this is not the right thread to talk about the app, but I couldn't find any other.

Save your ADRs, FP+, etc as a file that you can view on your phone (txt, pdf, etc), or just print them out or write them down. Assuming your phone has web access (I'm assuming it does since you have the app), use http://www.easywdw.com/waits/ to track wait times and regular FP return windows.

I just got a second generation Google Asus Nexus 7 tablet & I go to Google Play & it says MDE isn't compatible with my device. I did read however MDE can be sideloaded via having the APK file for it but two problems. I can't find the APK file & even if I could, I wouldn't know how to upload it to my device. Any one out there have any experience with dealing with this problem? If so then let me know how to upload the apk file if you can find it for me. I just want to be able to access MDE on all my devices so if you can help me, just let me know. TIA!

Thanks for the advice :thumbsup2
Of course I was planning to print everything before we leave home and I also have another app for wait times....but it's a little bit disappointing that they release an app that is getting worse with every release !

I have the Nexus 7 from 2012, and have MDE on it. I have 4.3 OS on, just upgraded. What version is your OS? Try just using Chrome and search for MDE and see if you can upload that way.

This is possibly a dumb question: Can't you simply access the MDE website from the tablet instead of using the app? The built-in chrome browser on the Nexus should be able to handle the website, I would think.

To me the app and the website provide two different functions. The app is definitely more fun to look at with the maps, descriptions of attractions, wait times.

Neither one does a very good job with keeping track of reservations. I have about 20 food and wine confirmation numbers, they show up in a wide range of places, but not all in the same place. Luckily, I recorded them all in an excel spreadsheet.

The website has the same maps. The mobile version also has simplified information, including wait times:

http://m.disneyworld.disney.go.com/

Wait times and FP return times can be found here, too: http://www.easywdw.com/waits/

I think with all the bugs that people seem to be experiencing with the app, there are several alternatives that might even provide better functionality than the app. The alternative might not offer the all-in-one-place convenience of the app, but the data is there. Just make a few bookmarks in your tablet or phone browser, and you're all set.

Can someone tell me if there is more than one Disney World Web site? I found one yesterday and it let me log into it with my regular Disney password but it was different than the normal Disney site that I usually go to. It gave me way more information about my trip details and I can't seem to find the site again. HELP! I really liked the site.
