Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

Not able to link APs on site last night. Bought our latest ones at the end of March. Most other information on site was correct. However, address was seriously wrong.

I tried to link our paper tickets to MDE today, just because I like seeing all my info in one place. Mine is showing up, but DD's isn't. If I try to enter the ticket number again, there's a message saying
This ticket or pass cannot be converted online. You may convert this ticket or pass into virtual electronic admission by bringing it to any Guest Services location at Walt Disney World Resort.

I guess maybe it doesn't matter, but I hope I didn't mess something up. :confused3

Did you buy the two tickets in two different places?

No. I bought them together. When I first entered the numbers off the backs, they both showed...mine first, DD's second. It said how many days were on the ticket, and asked if I was sure I wanted to assign it to her -- pretty much the same process as when I entered the first ticket, which I assigned to myself. But then when I went to my reservations page, only my ticket is showing. :scratchin

My Disney Experience is absolutely, totally, completely NOT WORKING for me on Foxfire. As in: it doesn't even show up as an option on the main WDW site! Even the words "My Disney Experience" appear no where for me, on Foxfire version of Disney.com or the "vacation planning" landing page. I've spent hours and hours on this today. Anyone know if there's an APP yet for a Windows phone??? Somehow, Foxfire on a Macbook Pro -- for a Windows-phone user -- seems to be the magic combination for basically being COMPLETELY LEFT OUT of "My Disney Experience." I can't add a payment method, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

PS: I'm not even a little old lady, or something! I work on a computer all day, every day. What if I were a senior citizen trying to navigate this? Geeeez, Disney website builders, you need to do some re-Imagineering!

Are you by any chance not in the United States? It seems the MDX web site is still not enabled for guests outside the states.

But if you are, It should appear for you, a nice big "My Disney Experience" menu option at the top to the right of the shopping cart.

Firefox is definitely not a limiting factor, nor should a Mac be one - don't have one to test with, but I'm sure we'd get a lot more feedback on that if it were...

Are you going to www.waltdisneyworld.com (aka disneyworld.disney.go.com)? It is not on the main disney.com page, and I don't know which vacation planning page you are referring to.

I just tried it using Firefox on my MacBook and was able to see my reservations, etc. I tried it by going in through both the WDW site and putting in My Disney Experience. Worked both ways and this is even with using a old version of Firefox.

I was playing around with the app and my Ohana reservation is no longer showing. My other dining reservations are still listed but the Ohana reservation is just gone. It used to be there. I called to confirm that my reservation was still in the system and it is. I asked the CM if she knew why the Ohana reservation poofed on the app and she said she didn't know.

How on earth is Disney planning to get this Fastpass plus system up and running when it can't even get the app to run correctly???

I need help on MDE. I am very frustrated with it. I created an account awhile ago and I made profiles for my husband and children that I manage. I don't see a point in them creating their own. Kids are too young and husband not interested.

I added my resort reservation awhile back also. When I log in now though I can see my resort reservation under My reservations. I can see that all of us are listed on there and reservation is correct. However, under the tickets section I can only see my ticket. I don't see tickets listed for my husband or the kids.

When I go in my friends and family list under reservations and go to one of the family members it shows they have no reservations. I can't see our resort reservation showing up under them or see that they also have park hoppers.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Ok I didn't read throught the whole thread so I apoligize if this has been answered before.

When I go into MDE on a computer I can see everything there. My DVC reservation, dining and the one ticket I've linked so far. But when I try to go into it on my iPhone app it tells me that I don't have any reservations for anything and that I'll need to link them if I want to see them...:confused3

How do I go about getting it so I can see it all in both places? My trip is still awhile away as it's in December but I'm hoping to figure this out sooner rather than later so I can play with the app on my phone. Thank you :cloud9::worship:

When I click on My Disney Experience on the website it goes straight to My Plans - no problem. Shows everything I have entered for five days in the parks.

It does not show at all using the Iphone app. I use the calendar to advance to my dates and my dining reservations show - but nothing else.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Any suggestions to fix it?

I've heard of others occasionally having these kinds of issues with the App. Often times things will show up on the website version of MDE, but the App wil be missing some or all of your info.

Check back again tomorrow. If the problem persists beyond a few days, and it's important to you to have the information appear in the app itself, give Disney a call.

But rest assured that if the info is appearing on the website, all of your reservations and information is in the Disney system. I think the app just has problems sometimes retrieving everything it's supposed to.

The Windows Phone version is coming but they can't give me a release date.

Same problem here with MDE website here. Only able to view it using a proxy.

Room Reservations don't show under 'My Plans' in the MDE app, they only show up under 'My Reservations'.

I am so frustrated! I tried to do this on my phone and it wont let me - it says the data has been interrupted. So I tried to so it on my laptop, signed in ok and got to the part where you add travel companions, Added them but there is no button that says "SAVE" only one that says "CANCEL"......huh????? How do you add info and save it if there is no button that says save???????

Anyone else have trouble trying to make a reservation with the Wishes Fireworks Party using the web page on the iPhone app but not being able to select the number of people? This works for me on Ohanas...

I've tried the app on the iPhone and its nigh-impossible to search for dining reservations on it... Yeah you can DO it... but you can't mark locations for quick lookup - If you're constantly rechecking for cancellations (like, y'know... 'Ohana!) you have to re-search for it and drill through the lists then re-enter your date/people/time info again.

Since this has been going on for weeks...I guess I'll have to call.

Thanks for replying.

I am having difficulty adding parks that I would like to visit on My Disney Experience. It says that I have limitations in my settings. Any idea how to change this? I never set any limitations! I can't figure it out. Thanks for your help.:confused3

I noticed the iPhone wasn't letting me select the # of people either. I don't have the same problem with either the iPad or the computer. I'd suggest using those instead until iPhone issue gets addressed.
