Navi River with 8:20 Tusker House

What would your strategy be to catch Navi River Journey? We have a FP for FOP around noon and we have an 8:20 breakfast at Tusker House .... will I be able to hit NVR after breakfast or should I just wait until later in the day? I'd LOVE to avoid the rope drop mess that I keep reading about for Pandora, if at all possible but if that's what I have to do, then I'll do it!

If you are out of Tusker Hse by 9:20, or so, you should be OK at Navi River.
(But, it won't likely be a "short" line.)

Best plan is to head there and check (or check a reliable "line wait" app.)
If the line is too long for you at that time, go elsewhere.
