Navi river Journey at rope drop?

On Saturday Dec 16th we walked into the park and 8:55 and went to the bathroom. The park had opened at 8 for EMH, but there was a rope still there for us regular guests. They had just dropped the rope when we came out of the bathroom. When we got to Navi the line was stretched out of the queue and the wait said 70 minutes. The listed wait was over 100 minutes really quickly -but the que moved fast and we were thru and off the ride in about 40 minutes.

98% of the crowd will be rushing to FoP. If you're at the park at 8:15, you'll be off Navi before 9 am.

Reviving this thread hoping for more recent experiences. I'll be at AK on 4/24. Park opens at 9. I'm hoping to arrive at 8:30 and ride Navi River Journey 1st, and then have time to run over to Dinosaur & Primeval Whirl before getting back to Pandora for a 9:30 FOP FP+. Do you guys think this is possible? Should I arrive even earlier at 8:15? Are they still letting people into Pandora a little early?

I'm glad you revived this thread. I have been trying to figure out our AK morning also. We are going when there is an 8:00 am EMH. I was hoping we could get there around 7:30. Ride Navi then go ride Everest and the Safari before we have to be at a tour at 9:15. Will this be possible?

We went to AK on March 16, got to Pandora a few minutes before 9 and we pretty much walked on to Navi, I don't remember waiting at all for the ride to open or in a line. The line for FOP was extremely long. By the time we got off, a line for Navi had built thought I don't know what the wait was. For me, it isn't worth a wait but then I don't really care for Pandora, the aesthetics, etc... except that I do like the food at Satuli.
