Natures Miracle for pet odors?

Anyone tried this? Did it work well. My male cat was recently snipped and sticks to the litter box now, but prior to that he was a peeing machine and unfortunatley his favorite spot was my love seat

I bought this stuff at Petsmart and am just curious if it works well? Or is there something else you'd recommend?

Nature's Miracle works great as long as you get ALL of the old urine saturated with it. Since it is hard to know where all of the old urine is, a blacklite will show you. Some pet stores will sell you or rent you a Nature's Miracle blacklite, or you can buy your own blacklite bulb. Just turn off your regular lights, turn on the blacklite and hold it just above the loveseat, carpet, etc. and the old urine stains will glow under the blacklite. Then you can saturate them. Be prepared for it to take days to dry while the enzymes are breaking down the urine. Also, the odor will not be gone until it is all dry.

Another one I like to use is called "See Spot Go" made by Tomlyn.
It is also a pet store brand like the Nature's miracle.

I used Natures Miracle years ago....
Yes, it does work.
It will continue to have a funny odor for several days after application, but it is not quite as bad as the urine smell you are dealing with right now.

I've used it also on carpet. It took a few applications but it eventually got the odor out. Nothing like the smell of cat pee.

Also on a side not, Natures Miracle also makes something for cat boxes too....Its Cat Litter Deodorizer...Works REALLY well, but costs $10. Just mix it in the litter when you fill it, and you basically get no urine or ammonia smell...I love it.

The best thing we've ever used is Consume. It can be purchased in cleaning supply stores.

The first house my DH lived in after his Mom's house, had been a cat house. All was fine until we closed the windows and doors for the autumn. You could hardly breath because of the cat pee smell.

We rented a machine and cleaned all the rugs with Consume and by the next morning, the smell was gone.

We've used it over and over again, as our pugs have decided to be bad in the house, and we've never been disappointed.

In my experience, Nature's Miracle does get the smell out, as well as the stain. Like tallyfamily mentioned, you really have to blot out as muich of the urine as possible, but even if you don't, it'll still work quite well. My dog was a peeing machine when he was a puppy, and I was amazed at how well Nature's Miracle removed the stains from my carpets.
