75% Irish and 25% English -- I still have some family in Ireland.

It is because the only ones that should be considered American are the Native Americans. America is a grab bag of nationalities which is great.

Thank god you don't call them Indians.

I mixed with Brazilian and Irish (my great aunt) from my mom's side, and Native American from both of my parents (Cherokee and i don't remember the other one)

but, my great-grandmother is scottish.
& i speak french.

my dad is 100% italian (half is sicilian), and my mom is italian, irish, scottish, english, german, austrain, native american, swedish, french, and canadian
im mainly italian and irish
btw some of my family speaks italian and i speak some too (understand all of it but have to mix it with a little english sometimes)
