Well, I went on and found I can get our convt for $10 cheaper than I could when I booked it the other day!! Now Im getting this car for the same price that I orignally booked a standard size car!!!! Im SOOO excited!!!!! The girls are going to have fits when they see the car!!!! Only 19 more days!!!

You are an angel, thank you for your post! I just got us a convertible for less than our originally booked full-size car! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It looks like the National rates are FINALLY coming down for early August! We LOVE having a convertible when we are in FL, but they were way too expensive for this trip, not anymore! I hope you have a super, wonderful, terrific trip! We are leaving in 17 days ourselves, and I am getting very, very excited!

Not trying to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but remember, many convertibles have A LOT less trunk space since some of the trunk space is used for the folded down top.

I wonder if 1 large and 2 smaller suitcases will fit ok??? We will just put our carry on bags in our laps for the drive to Disney.--We are only going for 4 days-so we wont be taking a ton of stuff. How much trunk space is there?

It really depends on the type of car (very specific, huh?). I would think 1 large and 2 small (carry-on sized?) suitcases will fit in the trunk of most convertibles. You'll probably have some room to squeeze in a backpack or two as well.

Since you're only going for 4 days, I'd imagine you'll be fine. If you were talking 4 people for 10 days, no way would all of your stuff fit!
