Hi all, I just made Res. with National for Sept. Got a great rate. My question is, Why does it say Total Estimated.. What change change the rate that I was quoted.. Has anyone else reserved one rate and when then went to pay, they were charged another?... TIA

That is supposed to be rate you are charged. Changes could occur if for example the tax rate increases, the state comes up with another fee it tacks on to car rentals, or you order unnecessary and costly extras like the insurance they sell. Some have reported getting a rate and then being charged a higher one when turning in the car through the Emerald Aisle procedure. That is improper, most likely a mistake, and should be corrected. That kind of increase has not happened to us.
