National Rental Question

I reserved a car at National - Miami Airport after our cruise. They did not ask for a credit card to hold the reservation. Is this normal or should I call them?

It seems odd to me that I didn't need a credit card to secure the reservation and it makes me nervous with the rental car shortages.

Are you an Emerald Club member? The preferred CC is part of the Emerald Club profile, so not entered when making an Emerald Club booking.

I've never had to give a cc when reserving a rental car (with the exception of one time years ago when I did pre-pay). The only info required is name and email. I do input my cc info to skip the line with Alamo, but that's after I've reserved it with just my name and email.

Thank you! Obviously I don't rent many cars. Lol. I am sure it will be fine. Now to worry that they will have a vehicle for us. I reserved a 7 passenger van. We will see what we end up with! We just need to make it from Miami to Orlando after our cruise!
