We modified ressies for a 7 day rental in KY from 138.00 for the week to 121.00 for the week the last week of July. This was for an intermeidate using the Entertainment 20.00 off and Emerald Club code.

Our Disney week in October is a 9 day rental-Intermediate car from Lexington unlimited mileage. This dropped from $323.00 to 181.00 this afternoon using the 20.00 website coupon and Emerald Club code.

It pays to keep checking, we saved almost half.

How do I find out if my rate dropped?

The only way to find out if your rate dropped is to go to the National site and do the process of making a reservation, then compare.
Rates have come down a bit but still not as low for end of October as the ressie I made six months ago.

Mine are still the same, unfortunately. Let's hope they start dropping as the summer starts winding down. The rates for October are pretty high, so I watch them daily.

Looks like National Last minute specials. They're on the websit through the end of July....I'm hoping for some better rates for our trip 8/12-8/19.

I'm picking up a full-size at MCO. Since I have American Express, I'm using 5125601 as the Contract ID and a Big Ten Coupon for a two class upgrade. We normally get a compact, but in October we'll be with other people so we need a larger car. The final total is $190.33 right now, but I check regularly to see if I can get a better rate.

You are so lucky! Mine either don't change or go up up and up! I currently have ressies w/ Alamo, National and Thrifty...nothing is moving and we are going the 3rd week of October...
