National Rate for Mini-Van Without Emerald Club Better???

Speaking of National and coupons and Emerald Club... I got a "One Free Day" coupon when I joined the Emerald Club, so I signed my mom up and she got one, too! I'm wondering if I can use both of those on one rental... I tried it through the website, and (although it nixed some other coupon combinations), it seemed perfectly happy to accept the 2 "Free Day" coupons.

Of course, that ends up being without the Emerald Aisle service I was hoping for because of the rate glitches I suppose I should just call them and see if I get a helpful representative who will subtract the coupons, put in my codes, AND get me away from the counter

I don't like the new website either. I've emailed them 3 times today with problems. I had 2 free days (rewards) and it would only show 1, even though my profile shows 2. After I booked a minivan, the price on my profile is much higher than the price I printed. The rep told me they would honor my price (which means going to the counter). How is everyone getting such good deals on the minivans. What codes are you using? I tried using 6600330 and the free days or coupons, but not getting the same low price.

I'd love to know this, too. When I call (I've called twice) I am told prices are based on availability on the days I am trying to book (10/27-11/1)

Yes, I'm sure rates ARE based on availability, and with all the Halloween Parties going on at that time (WDW, US, BG), they probably don't need to offer special rates to bring in customers. Also, you are going for 5 days, and you are probably being charged the daily rate X 5. I believe National gives you the weekly rate (which is cheaper) for 6 days or more. Good luck!

For the longest time I was getting the best deal using the Carlson code and today I decided to try the Priceless code and it worked!

My rate finally went down a little from $165 to $157. Hey, every little bit helps!
