National Minivans

Has anyone gotten a really great rate on a Minivan rental with National lately?

I have been checking for the end of August for a couple of months now, nd they are very very high priced. National and all the others are the same. Of course this is for over Labor Day weekend and that may be why.

I've rented cars from National, Avis, Budget--whoever is lowest. I've never been able to beat Dollar on minivans by playing around with the codes.

We got a minivan on the EA at National for $12?.00 for a week.

I was under the impression that you couldn't reserve a minivan under the EA. Did you reserve a car class and just happen to pickup a minivan on the aisle when you arrived?

The best price I have found is through Budget using code ***. I got a minvan Dec 8-15 for $209 a week.

You are right, you can't reserve a minivan with Emerald Aisle. Maybe the poster meant he used Emerald Choice, which National has in select locations?

Correction to my earlier post...my rate was through Dollar, not Budget. (I hope I show up at the right rental counter!) Also sorry for posting the code earlier....I wasn't thinking when I did it.

Sorry for a rather poorly worded post. We reserved a FS, and just so happened that the only thing they had on the Aisle was minivans, a nice susprise to start our vacation. They had probably 20 or so mini's and nothing else.
