I hope you all have a
VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
We have celebrated our Christmases this past weekend since DH will be working this Christmas. Not sure if DS and I will head over to my Aunt's house for dinner on Christmas day or not. We've seen everyone and feel lucky to have made all of our rounds this year without any family arguments or holiday mishaps.

A lot of my immediate family will now be going out of town to see in-laws and such. Even my in-laws are going out of town. So.....I think my final decision is that myself and DS will stay home in our PJ's and watch the Disney Parade!! Besides, even though Santa passed by our house early so that DH could see what DS got, (we wrote him a letter requesting him to come early) I think that Santa may have forgotten something in his sleigh that will require him to make his way past our house again on the night of Christmas Eve.
In grown up terms......we saved one of his Santa presents so that he could still have something to wake up to on Christmas day. I didn't want DH to miss out on seeing his face after Santa passed so I came up with the idea to write Santa a letter and request him early. He passed by this past Saturday night.
Anyhoo, I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of my own!! I had my camera out and I even got my FIL to take a pic of the 3 of us before the party started. But then......NADA!

I slacked in the picture taking department this year....BIG TIME!
Every year Christmas is sort of chaotic for us because both mine and DH's parents are divorced. We used to have 4 Christmases but then we figured out that we could cut that down a bit by having our own Christmas party for both of our mom's and sisters at our house. That still leaves my dad and his dad. So this year it went like this......Saturday morning we had brunch at my dad's house, then ran home so that I could start cooking gumbo for our party at our house for our moms etc that night. Then Santa came that night so DS discovered his new toy on Sunday morning. We spent time playing with it and then got dressed to do Christmas all over again at DH's dad's house.

Now you see why I'm pooped and why DS and I will just keep Christmas eve/day to ourselves this year.
Here are the very few Christmas pictures we took this year......
Gingerbread train! This was not as easy as it looked on the box!!
My itty bitty potted tree! We got this when DS was born so that he couldn't get at it. Now that our new living room is finished, next year we will have a normal sized tree!
Lucy just hanging out....
Group pic....
DS in his new snuggie (he asked for one!) while playing his new Mario Cart game on the Wii......
The present that Santa brought..... "D-Rex" He is very cool! The bone is a remote and you can play games with him, have him follow you, play hide and seek with you....yes, he finds you! He also burps and farts. Not sure what that's all about but it makes DS laugh.
Ok, so keeping with the Disney theme....I will post some more pic's from past trips. The last one's were from Feb 2007 which was DS's first trip. Here are some from his 2nd trip in Feb 2008. This is the trip when I met Rosie and Jordan & company. This is also the trip when I got very sick!! It was the best and not so best trip we've ever had. This was this trip where DS came out of his shell and met all the Characters. We were celebrating DS's 4th birthday this trip as well as mine & DH's 14th wedding anniversary! I loved it even though I was running a FEVER!!
Deep sea conversation....
mmmmm, Beverly!!!
I was holding my breath while smiling in this pic! I didn't want to get Jordan sick. I had been running fever all night the night before. Luckily, I found out later that I wasn't contagious after all. Thank goodness!
