I just got national executive level through chase saphire reserve credit card. I've never used national before nor this emerald isle perk before so I was wondering what to expect. I'm renting a car in the middle of a saturday at the national on CCC. I was reading I can browse the emerald isle through the app 15 minutes before heading to pick up the car. And if I find something I like better than what I picked, I can get that. Is that correct? I booked a fullsize for 4 days for $550 (paid in points through chase travel rewards site). I have two kids so an SUV or mini van might be preferable to the fullsize. But Im not really sure about that until I see what they have. But I am guessing that SUVs and minivans on a saturday at disney will be rarer than a dinosaur in the 21st century... correct? Thats why I reserved a fullsize and not a midsize, didnt want to risk it.
Also, any other national rental places near disney that could be cheaper? I paid with points, so from my perspective its worth it for the convenience. But maybe I can save some points by taking a $15 lyft pink ride to another location. I'm going to be in a hurry that day as were driving to Miami and dont want to waste time getting a car rental, so goign to the ccc seemed the best choice. Usually im the kind of person who will go an hour out of my way to save $20, so this is a bit new to me.
we're staying at value resorts and probably doing epcot for half a day before leavign for Miami.
