National Emeral Aisle quote

I just book w/ National's Emerald Aisle for 8 days in May with codes from BJ's. Is 241.89 good for a fullsize car for 8 days? Where can I find codes/contract ids for National. I rember 3 years ago Mousesavers posted quite a few but I haven't seen any lately. Thanks!

Mostly you can find codes on Mary's site (mousesavers), but we are finding better prices on Alamo. There are a few of us moving to the other side while national is having such high rates. My daughter has a mid-size SUV for 1 week and her total is $106 (includes all fees and taxes) and I have a mid-size SUV for 2 weeks (14 days) for $228 (includes all fees and taxes). We used the codes 430710 BY and coupon on the alamo site D42C ($15).

WOW, what a price difference! The only reason I was leaning towards National was for the benefit of the Emerald Aisle, we really liked being able to bypass a counter and go right to our car. I'll have to look into Alamo. Thanks for the info!

Oops, one more question about Alamo . Is the service desk right in the airport near baggage pick up or do you have to take a shuttle to another area of the airport? One year we had to take a shuttle to somewhere else in the airport for our rental and it stunk!

The Alamo counter is at the airport next to the national counter. Check out some of the Alamo threads, as there are alot of codes floating around. I also loved the convenience of National--we are Executive Aisle, but saving $100 on a rental makes us move to the "other" side. Dropping the rental car off is easy because Alamo and National share the same drop-off. There are ways to advoid the counter, either join QS or checkin online (you can't do it if you use a coupon). There is also a prepaid method that SOMETIMES gives you a lower amount than using the codes. good luck.

Thank you for the info, looks like I'll be making the switch too. I just wanted to make sure we wouldn't have to take a shuttle anywhere to pick up the car. As long as it's in the actual airport I'm happy!

You can also do one way limo transportation and pick up your rental from Alamo at the Dolphin. You may be able to use fewer days and avoid the lines too. If you are in a Disney resort ME is no cost through 12/06.
