Last time I rented I was pleasantly surprised that the total on my rental agreement was the price before the coupon was applied.

Was this an anomaly? Why are there double columns below? Trying to figure out if this reservation will be 30.00 less than the total.

There are double columns to show how much the week rate is x how many weeks. same for days , hours etc. The other column heading should be self explanatory. The bottom line is what you will pay. The 30.00 (plus the tax adjustment) has already been deducted from the total. The 30.00 in parens means a credit. The coupon has been applied.
