National code from Mousesavers????

I need help and opinions, once again! Thanks for all advice, in advance!
Here's the deal:
We will be driving from Charleston, Sc to Orlando on 12/31/05. We have reservations for pick up from CHS (Charleston) with National; however, this is a one way trip and we will be dropping it off at MCO on 01/07/06. My Dh originally made these ressies back in August without any codes, coupons, etc. Total was $470. I then remembered the codes, etc. from mousesavers and just made another ressie for the same trip, only using the contract id for Emerald club, as well as the wweb code and coupon for $15 off for the week. Here's my question...it gave me the price of $399 and confirmation, however, it never asked for my EC #, etc...and, well, I am not yet a member. We went on the website and were joining and got all the way down to hitting enter, and I got scared because of ALL the info they have: DL#, cc#, Birthdate, etc. and we didn't do it! So, since I have a quoted price, a reservation, and a confirmation, are they going to ask me for my Emerald club #? Please help! Thank you, Thank you!

They're asking you for the information that you would otherwise have to give when you go to rent your car. You're going to have to give them your drivers license number, cc, DOB before you can rent a car. You either type it in the computer at home or National type it in when you get to CHS.

EC member skip the rental desk and go right to the car. Your entire reservation will have to be redone when you get the car. They might honor the rate or they might not. I wouldn't want to be at the mercy of the agent.

To use Emerald Club, you have to log in with your Emerald Club ID and password on the first screen. Just using the Emerald Club contract code will not give you an Emerald Club reservation. Since you are not a member of Emerald Club, they might not even honor the discount.

I CHS, I don't think they have an actual aisle, it's counter service only. I was kind of shocked when I typed in that contract # and it gave me the discount. And I got it without putting a number or name in...sooooo...
I guess I need to not be such a scaredy-cat and sign up! Thanks, DebbieB!
