I am renting a car 4/11 late at night and returning it 4/12 to the car center. At the same time I am picking up another car for a week. It worked out SOOOO much cheaper this way. (got the tip from this board!)

Will they let me keep the same car or do I need to turn in the car I choose at EA and get one they have?? What kind of cars do they have at the car center?

I only put in the car center...is tha dolphin or another center going to be any cheaper?

Hi,
I was told you have to drop off your first vehicle and they will provide you with another one of the car class you reserved since they don't have EA at the Car Center.

Can you post where you got this idea from? I am curious how and why it saves money. I'm looking to rent a car on an upcoming trip and would like to see if I'm missing an angle. I originaly wanted to just take Magical xpress and rent from the car care center. But it came out to be cheaper to rent from Alamo and pick up and drop off at mco. I wanted to just rent for 5 days from the car center but it is much cheaper to rent for 7 days from the airport. Thanks in advance if you can link to the thread that helped you.

I don't remember which post I found this in...I read so many every day. I just basically played with the numbers. I did all 8 days from the airport. Then I did one day returning it to the car center and renting again for 7. It worked out about $30 cheaper. My thought is the 30 minutes it will take to exchange the cars is the carriage ride I want to take!
