National Car rental price drop (late July)

Just checked National tonight and my rental price for a 10 day just dropped by $50. My reservation is for 7/26-8/5 with Disney club contract ID and $20 DC coupon. My rate is now $235 for Emerald Aisle. Just a heads up to anyone who may be renting a car around this time period to check your rates.

My rate for May also dropped- by about $70!

My rate for Nov 30 thru Dec 7 (7 days) went from $193. to $151!!! I also changed my contract # from Emerald Clubs to the old Disney Club (which I hope I won't have a problem with when I arrive!) to get this rate.

When I plugged the Entertainment contract it was $181 and the new Disney Club contract was the worst! It was a higher rate than I had already booked; it was $205. The new DC contract is useless!

Also thanks from me too. Though my May trip didn't change too much: I went from a base amount of $167 to $161 for a full size, plus will use the $15 coupon. (Not a DC member here.) My July trip dropped by $40. I think the base amount for the July/full size is $147 a week, and even my October fare dropped too at $159 a week/fill size. (These prices are the base weekly amount for a full size on EA, not including taxes and fees). Glad to see National getting competitive again. I think I used Dollar for our 6 trips last year because National was much higher. I used the vacation code and was able to use the coupon only on the May trip. Hope this trend continues.
