National - $198 cheaper with pick up at Dolphin!

I just changed my car rental from an MCO pick up to a pick up at the Dolphin and drop off at MCO - $198 less!!

can anyone use this Emerald Club code?
we need to rent a car 8/22-24 - a compact is fine as its only to get 3 ppl from WDW to Universal & SeaWorld - no luggage being transported
would it be cheaper renting for 3 days or a week? Ive been quoted $115 for 3days/2nights - can I get it lower?
we also want to pickup/drop off from Dolphin

You can join the Emerald club for free from the link on mousesavers - I did have to show my EC card the last time I rented from National. Best thing to do is try the different codes/dates at the national website... i got my rental down another $60 today bc the rate dropped again!

That's not always the case - but it is often true near a Holiday when ALAMO and National want more cars at the airport and less at the Swan/Dolphin.

My rental was cheaper at the Dolphin too, but only by 2 cents! I was very suprised.

My dates are 12/21/06 to 12/28/06 for an intermediate. I used an American Express code that I found on Mousesavers and a $20 coupon from BJ's, and came up with a total of $183.29. We're using Magical Express so I don't need a car from the airport, but just for the heck of it I checked it anyway and the total was $183.31. I thought it would have been much more expensive to use the airport location, but for my dates and the codes that I used, it was only 2 cents.
