Anyone know why or how long the National car rental website will be down?We have been trying to book through them since early yesterday morning, no luck. Just tried again and still nothing.

Are you sure it's down? I just went in and, short of giving my CC #, everything was going through. Check again this morning.

yes....its still down (spoke to National's 1-800 number and they confirmed problems)

Can you send me the link you are using because if I go to www.nationalcar.com it comes up as page not found (since yesterday).
And,as I mentioned the rep on the phone this morning confirmed that indeed there was a problem.

I was on it yesterday several times checking rates and everything seemed ok. Good luck

I am also able to access the site with no problems. Try clearing your cache.

I agree, try clearing your history-sometimes it will mess things up.
