She got in a skiing accident and it seemed like she only suffered minor injuries, but an hour later they brought her to the hospital and it turns out shes on life support now.
I heard they're going to take her off soon..

I don't trust FoxNews. At all. I am also EXTREMELY disappointed in Perez Hilton. Until CBS/ABC/CNN report she's brain dead, I will not believe it. Regardless, her and her loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.

I hate how problems are much more publicized for celebrites when there are millions with the same, or worse, problems. Sure, I feel bad for her, but what makes her more important than those other million people that don't have anything mentioned about them? That's what I think when I see these stories.

But this was like out of nowhere everyone thought she was fine but now she's really sick.

Call me heartless, but when you go without a helmet you need to be prepared for minor injuries.

Actually, the beginners hill is one of the WORST places not to be wearing a helmet. I cannot tell you how many times in lessons (mandatory by my program) I'd gotten sideswiped and landed flat on my back.

It's so scary to think about. I'm just thinking about how I passed out at work this past summer and hit my head on a railing/ground and it hurt but nothing more than that.

i feel SO bad for her. shes an amazing actress. i was actually watching the parent trap last night before i even found out about this.

I do feel bad that she's gone, she was an amazing actress...but seriously, NO HELMET?!

That's just stupid. I know my helmet has probably saved me more than once. And when you look at it, even most of the pros wear helmets. Shawn White wears one! And he's pretty much the best there is! I've been snowboarding for 8 years and I still wear one because I know that just because I'm good enough to ride every trail on the mountain, I'm not perfect! Heck, just Sunday I had a bad fall on a beginner's trail because of a few reckless kids.

In my short 5 years of skiing I can not tell you how many times I've gotten side swiped, especially near beginner and green trails.
