Natalie Maines, where did your hair go?

 she looks like my sister's partner!! I mean, she's attractive and all, but a little bit masculine....

Is she switching teams? It's a very butch look...

the aviator sunglasses in that picture did nothing to make her look feminine either.

She is probably just regrowing it out because her hair is fried from overprocessing it.

I never thought about this possibility. If she did have to re-grow it, then she could definitely improve on the style she has now (either with highlights or pixie-cut as mentioned earlier).

That is not flattering on her whatsoever. She is very pretty but that's ewwww.

HA! That was my first thought. Her hair is even shorter than my sister's partner.

It is totally unattractive. What was she thinking? Blech.

She's lost serious weight! The cut's a little austere, but I think it will look really good in a month or two.

I have yet to meet the woman that looks better with short hair than with long.

Really? I disagree.

I know some women with long hair and it seems so dowdy and frumpy. I have often thought they would look awesome with a short, stylish cut and color:confused3

It's too short for me but I think she looks pretty.
Short hair doesn't look good on some women but then long hair can really make a woman look older as it drags down her face.

I was wondering the same thing. I heard it's a new "trend" now, to switch sides. :confused3

Personally, I don't really believe in "switching sides". That implies being gay is a choice. But since when does short hair mean a woman has to be a lesbian? I know plenty of women with short hair (yes, some with hair that short) that are very straight. I also know lots of feminine lesbians, myself included.

For the record, I'm referring to something I saw on "The View" yesterday, where they were talking about a book or a study where there are many females in their 40's now who are suddenly getting into lesbian relationships for the first time. The View is the one that wondered if this seems like a "trend" as, like you and the most gays I know, say it's not a "choice" being gay.

Yes, there are feminine lesbians. But we were referring to Natalie, not you, who does NOT look the least bit feminine after her haircut. There are very short feminine haircuts. This doesn't look like one of them.

I think Natalie does still look feminine. A short haircut, to me, is not enough to say that someone looks butch. She's wearing earrings, for one thing.

I agree. I think Halle Berry and Rihanna both look better with short hair than with long. Victoria Beckham as well(though I liked her short bob and do not like her pixie cut)..I am sure there are more, but those I just thought of off the top of my head.

IMO, Natalie Maines looks totally unattractive with this new hair cut. I don't find that to be at all feminine.
