Nassau swimming with dolphins?!!?!??!Questions

I want to save up to take my kids swimming with the dolphins on Paradise Island. Anyone know approx cost AND>..if my daughter who will be 5 when we go can't swim...do they allow them in with a life jacket???

bump! I wanted some info on the dolphin SWIM as well! If dh and I observe our dks what is the cost? Anyone done this? How do we book!

You can only book the Encounter through Disney. The swim you must book directly through Dolphin Encounters. I think that kids have to be 8 to do the swim but only have to be 3 to do the Encounter.

The Encounter was a lot of fun - we stood on a platform and the water is only waste high and you get to feed the dolphin and kiss him, dance and rub its teeth!

It was an amazing excursion. It is pricey though! It was $113.50 for adults and $88.50 for kids.

My son and I did the encounter this past June--We absolutely loved it!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

The age requirement is 5 with a parent/guardian. Everyone wears a life jacket.

Dreamer04 - we did not wear life jackets, nor did we see any around. Just the wet suits that they provided.

There is no need for life jackets as you are not actually swimming and the platforms are rather wide that you stand on.

The encounter takes place on a platform. The swim takes place in the water. For the swim, everyone wears a life vest.

I don't know about Paradise Island, but at Blue Lagoon, they do offer life jackets as well as wet suits for everyone. I would imagine it would be the same there at PI. I know, I was worried my DD7 would take one steps too many and be underwater looking for the dolphins. Costs are the same there.

I thought Blue Lagoon also offered a Stingray swim/snorkel?
