We went on the catamaran one back in 2015. Loved the ride over, music & ambience...however the snorkeling was lackluster. It was also pretty cold in November. If it is your first time snorkeling then yes! We won't be booking that one again. Loved the sailing part though!

Thank you! Unfortunately, the snorkeling is the important part. If it is lackluster, then I think I'd rather spend less money at CC and try there.

We've done both, and liked the catamaran better for the trip, plus they had drinks and snacks included. Both excursions go to the same general area, so the snorkeling isn't really much different. Our experience in the Bahamas is that snorkeling is really weather-dependent. We were just there last week and had great visibility and saw lots of fish, but we've been there other times that weren't as good. BTW, since you mentioned CC, the snorkeling there last week was the best we've ever seen. They really seem to be putting effort into attracting more fish into the snorkeling bay.

In 2014 our family of 5 went on what I believe was the Caribbean Queen in Nassau.

It was nice. The boat had a lot of people on it. I am glad we went but I probably would not look to go again.

Snorkeling in CC is okay. Some fish. Special Disney surprises. The water is a little cloudy from sand kicking up.

I believe I picked CQ in Nassau because of the price.

We did the catamaran one a couple years ago and liked it ok. You might want to investigate doing a private tour. I almost booked a private company who was highly rated on Trip Advisor. The only reason I didn't was due to the excursion time (it was later than I wanted). I seem to recall the price being comparable. Much smaller boat with fewer people. I'm keeping in the back of my mind for a future cruise. Good luck!
