Is there anywhere I can find a map of the area right where all the ships dock? We just want to do a short stroll close to the ship as opposed to doing an excursion. I know it is not the best area. But when I was there in 2023, there was a colorful area to walk around pretty close to the ship.

Any links or maps would be appreciated. Thank you.

Nothing special to advise you. Just walk off the ship to the dock area and follow the crowd.

Before they finished the secure area near the ships, my wife and I walked on our own to the Queen's Staircase. We just looked at a satellite view from Google maps of the port area. Take a screen shot of the satellite view and the regular view. Then magnify the areas you might want and print the pages out to take with you.

If you're just interested in the are at the docks, there's a map at the end of the dock. The marketplace is largely two long "streets" with stalls on either side, plus a museum and info center that might not be open, yet. There's also an amphitheater at the far end, but nothing was showing when I was there.

It's actually quite nice and, since it's blocked off from everything else, quite safe, too. We didn't run into anyone pestering us for money.

I can't find a good map. If you go to Google Maps and search for "Nassau Bahamas Cruise Terminal", it should put a marker right on the main building. Switch to satellite view and you can see the layout and some of the shop names.
