Has anyone ever done the above? I see it gets rave reviews on Trip Advisor so am tempted to give it a go, but thought I would have a final check to see if anyone has any feedback.

We did the Tru Bahamian Food Tour in June 2014. We really enjoyed it. It was a great way to get a little bit of Nassau history as well as taste some yummy food.

That's the one I've been looking at. I like the idea of experiencing authentic local food and this certainly seems to fit the bill.

I haven't been but going this Saturday and can't wait. Sounds really interesting. I will report back.

I have never done the nassau one but we are signed up for the one in Jamaica. Sounds like a great way to get a walking tour and sample some local cuisine! considering somethign similar for Grand Cayman as well!

I have never read about these food tours on this website but they do get GREAT reviews on trip advisor. Surprised that no DISers have done them and reported back

I was thinking the same - but from reading other posts everyone is too scared to get off the boat ;-)

I'm doing the Tru Bahamian tour on May 13th (part of the May 10th sailing on the Magic) - It sounds really fun and anything to do with eating or drinking is up my alley. We've been to Atlantis already so didn't see the need to go back. This looked like a good way to get some good eats as well as some history/culture. I'll report back after our cruise!
