Does anyone have suggestions of good excursions (preferably through DCL) for adults. Not interested in parasailing, shopping or swimming with dolphins. Thanks!

You definitely want to do an excursion as Nassau itself is not a pretty town. In fact, we found it down right scary! We certainly knew our limits on where we could safely go. You might try Atlantis/Paradise Island there is lounging/casinos/water park/etc. You might also try catamaran/sailboat with snorkeling. These are fun, too. Unfortunately, excursions are limited at Nassau. Good luck and have fun!

Besides Atlantis, you could also look into Blackbeard's Cay or Blue Lagoon. I have been to the first and found it to be very quiet/ relaxing. I have also heard great things about Blue Lagoon.

For our upcoming cruise we'll be doing the Catamaran Harbor Cruise through Disney excursions.

Whichever your choose, have a wonderful vacation.

I'm doing the Sea & See Island Tour through DCL Excursions on the May 4 Magic itinerary...It's pretty much a combination of the harbor cruise, underwater sea life/reef observation, & city tour...I figured that was the best option to see a little bit of everything without being scared for my life!

We did the "Graycliff Hotel Wine and Cheese Pairing" last year and it was great, we are doing it again this year. If you like wine, we definitely recommend it. The "Graycliff Escape Nassau", would likely be very good as well. The hotel and staff are extraordinary. The excursion was definitely worth the cost.

Not really an excursion (or through DCL), but a very relaxing day at the beach that I thought I would throw out there.

We took a cab to the Sheraton on Cable Beach, and then bought day passes to use their beach, pool, etc. It's beautiful and very relaxing. Cost for two adults and two kids was around $25 each way for the cab, and $75 for the day passes for a total around $125. This cost didn't include food / drink at the Sheraton, which is pretty pricey. Overall, it was a great day!

Here's a picture of the beach / pool area:
