Nassau Excursion ???sss

We are looking for a good Nassau excursion for the end of January. Anyone have a good recommendation?

I recommend that you do the Dolphin Swim at the Blue Lagoon in Nassau. Beautiful island with a chance to swim with some really fantastic animals. The trainers are a lot of fun, too.

I checked the webpage at

and decided to have my 2 oldest kids (5 and 8) do the Dolphin Encounter. Its $75 each and I just have to get a taxi to the ferry.

The DCL version of the same thing is much more.......

I think I will have to wait till they are older for the Dolphin Swim.

Another suggestion that I have read about and am seriously considering for our trip in March is renting a room at the comfort suites and spending the day at Atlantis. From what I have read this will permit you to have full access to the hotel's pool, aquarium as well as private beach. I have also heard that their water slides are quite impressive.

We did the Blue Lagoon beach day our first year and last year we did the catamaran sail and snorkel. We had a great time on both of them.

Billinaz - you don't need a taxi to get to the ferry. The ferry is about 1/4 - 1/2 mile from the ship. You can walk it.

Vivig - I had a friend do the Atlantis thing in October. She said that for the money, she wasn't that impressed. Her children were in their teens and they would have preferred one of Disney's waterparks over the waterparks at Atlantis. I would not do this excursion with young children. JMHO.
