Looking for recommendations on activities in Nassau appropriate for a 2 year old. Leaning towards Blue Lagoon island. Any insight would be most appreciated!

I would recommend BLue Lagoon. Atlantis is overwhelming. At BL the water won't be too deep and there will be plenty of sand and shaded area.

There's also plenty to do on the ship on Nassau day if you don't end up finding something there you like :-)

When we've done the 3 and 4 day trips with a toddler we just stay onboard and explore, play in the splash pad, etc. I researched it and didn't find anything I thought made it worth getting off the ship.

It amazes me that DCL still uses Nassau. It's not a safe island. My family will never again get off the ship at Nassau.

Can you elaborate on this "overwhelming"? We are just doing the aquarium excursion. I booked that specifically because it seems like we can just pop our 1 yr old in the stroller and roam around...is that not the case?

Atlantis is a huge property and we've lost each other easily.
The waterpark can be difficult to navigate. I don't know anything about the aquarium. We tend to stay away from Atlantis because it can get expensive.
