I'm seriously thinking of travelling to TN to do the CM at Nashville. My daughter has been working on me since the San Antonio Expo, and now my wife is trying to talk me into it as well.

I'd be interested in suggestions too! The downtown area choices on the race website seemed pretty pricey. We are trying to decide if we'd be better off renting a car and staying a little ways out.

As for hotel, I found the Homewood near the airport has a $99/nt weekend rate for the king suite. We stay at a Homewood in NY - very nice and actually a full kitchen.

We've made our room reservations - we will be at the airport Hampton Inn on Donelson.

I will be at the Millennium Maxwell House. I stayed there in 2006 and it was very nice. They also had a shuttle to the start. If you are doing the full you will run around the parking lot so if you have spectators they can just stroll down and watch you.

Just booked the Homewood Suites at the airport. Nice places, full kitchens and for only $99/nt, real bargain!

We'll have our car so not worried about getting around.
