Next up is the Poconos 500 at Poconos Raceway at Long Island, PA.
The race is Sunday June 7th. Qualifying is Friday June 5th! Make your picks by the time qualifying starts! PLEASE!!
Poconos Raceway is a tri-oval track with a lap distance of 2.5 miles. The race drivers will circle the track 200 times for a total race distance of 500 miles!
This is the 1st of 2 races Nascar holds here.
Bill Elliot has the most wins here since 1975 with 5 checkered flags.

In 6/08, #9 K Kahne won from start to finsh.
In 8/08, #48 J Johnson won the pole but #99 C Edwards won the race.
In 6/07, #39 R Newman led the pack to start and #24 J Gordon led when it counted.
In 8/07, #88 JR won a rare pole in a race won by #2 Kurt Busch.
