The 6th race of the 2010 36 race season takes us to Martinsville Virginia and the Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, March 28, 2010. This race is titled "The Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500".
Martinsville Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 0.526 miles. The racers will complete 500 laps for a total race distance of 263 miles.
Qualifying is set for Friday, March 26th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Darryl Waltrip has the most wins here since 1975 with 11 victories.
Other hstory:
In 3/09, #24 J Gordon turned in the fastest qualifying time and #48 J Johnson returned to Victory Lane.
In 10/09, #39 R Newman had the pole in a race won by #11 D Hamlin.
In 3/08, #24 J Gordon led the field at the start of the race but #11 D Hamlin took home the checkered flag.
In 10/08, #48 J Johnson led from start to finish to win his third race in a row at Martinsville. He swept both races in 2007.
