The Sylvania 300 will be held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, September 19th! This is the 27th race of the 36 race 2010 season.
It is also the first race of 10 in the cup series.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 1.06 miles. There are 300 laps scheduled for a total race distance of 317 miles.
Qualifying is Friday, September 17th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Jeff Burton has 4 victories here since 1975. The most of any drivers since that time.
Other history:
In 6/10, #42 J P Montoya had the pole in a race won by #48 J Johnson.
In 6/09, #14 T Stewart turned in the fastest qualifying time and #20 J Logana won the race.
In 9/09, #42 J P Montoya had the pole once again and this time, #5 M Martin took home the checkered flag.
In 6/08, P Carpentier was first behind the pace car to start the race and #2 Kurt Busch took home the honors.
In 9/08, #18 Kyle Busch started first but #16 G Biffle was first at the end.

3. D Hamlin <~~~~ I had a feeling at Richmond....I have a feeling at Loudon....
4. K Harvick <~~~ He's not resting on his laurels now that the chase has started...I look for a top 5 from him....
5. Kyle Busch <~~~ He's going to come out gunning in Loudon....mark my words....
