The 28th race of the 2009 season takes us to Dover, Delaware on Sunday, September 27th!
Qualifying is Friday, Septmber 25th, so Please make your picks before the qualifying starts.
Sunday's race at Dover International Speedway will be 400 miles. The speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 1.0 miles and the drivers will run 400 laps.
Bobby Alison has the most wins here since 1975 with 5 victories.
Other history:
In 5/09, D Reutimann had the fastest qualifying time in a race won by #48 J Johson.
In 6/08, #16 G Biffle led the start but #18 Kyle Busch led when it counted most.
In 9/08, #24 J Gordon won the pole in a race won by #16 G Biffle.
In 6/07, #39 R Newman was first to start and #1 M Truex was first to finish.
In 9/07, #48 J Johnson had pole honors and #99 C Edwards took home the Monster Mile Trophy.
Hmmmm....Quite the scattering of race car drivers names.
