Our first choice of CPGV is not available for our dates, so we have narrowed it down to Orbit One and Bryan's Spanish Cove. We will be spending equal time at Disney/US, so ( I think) the Crossroads area where we stayed last time would be best, but we have only been to Orlando once before, and we don't know the area very well. Which of these properties would be more convenient to both parks?

We are staying at Orbit One in October, I think they are very close to the same area. Orbit One has more onsite activities, Bryan's is a small resort. You can go to www.islandone.com and see pictures and I believe view a map. This area isn't too difficult to navigate and if you do a search on these boards I have read posts that have directions from Orbit One. Hope this helps you!! Have a great trip!

Orbit One is also a very small resort with a small pool area and not many activities. That being said, we liked our stay there just fine and would go back there again. We love the location and the unit itself was very large and well equipped. It's not a very plush resort (think OLCC or Vistana), but still very nice and clean. Good luck deciding and have fun.

Actually, both are pretty conveniently located to WDW...but in different areas. Orbit One is located off of 192 (west) on Entry Point Blvd, and you only have to cross 192 to get onto Sherbeth Rd. (street name changes at that point). Sherbeth Rd. is one of the convenient "back ways" into the WDW area, especially close to AKL and AK.

Bryan's Spanish Cove is located in the Lake Buena Vista area, off of Apopka-Vineland Rd, between I-4 and 536 (World Center Drive). It's more convenient to Epcot and DTD. I think there is a bit more traffic in this area, but it is closer to Universal than Orbit One.

Thank you for all your help! It sounds like Bryan's Spanish Cove is fairly close to the Crossroads area which we found to be very convenient to both US and WDW. Our skyauction RSG is only for 7 nights ( we need 8), so I may book Sheraton Safari for the first night thru Hotelkingdom. I think that is in the Lake Buena Vista area also; is that right?

Faye..............just wondering.........when are you going?? We will be at BSC Nov. 26th. If you are going before then, could make sure you give us a review when you get back?? So little is said on these boards about it but it sounds like it will be fine for us. Thanks. :flower:

We are going Oct 21-29th, so I will be there before you, and I will be happy to post a report. I wish I could find out more about it, also. We've only been to Orlando once before, and I am afraid we were very spoiled by CPGV. Friends are coming with us for their first trip, and I would be more comfortable staying at a resort we know, or at least has had a lot of positive reviews. BSC doesn't seem to have many reviews at all!
