Narnia - Yes or No

The set is incredible. And there is a visit by the White Whitch!! Very convincing. If you love the movie...I think it is worth it. You also get to step through the wardrobe!!!!!

We will be going back.

We enjoyed it - just don't go in with high expectations. DS11 and I were the only ones in my family who had seen the movie - after seeing the exhibit at MGM, DH, DS16 and DS12 desperately wanted to see the movie!

There is a winter scene (with snow) outside the exhibit which is a great place to take pictures. When you enter the exhibit, you walk through the wardrobe doors into "winter". There is a live person as the White Witch who looks a lot like the one in the movie. Then they show some film highlight clips. As you leave, there are some costumes and props from the movie.

If you liked the movie, why not give it a try - it doesn't take that much time. I agree they probably could have done more with it though. You'll probably get lots of different opinions here.

Do it if you don't have to wait. If there is a wait, skip it and do something else. The set is nice and the white witch but it isn't worth waiting even 10 minutes for.

I must live under a rock since I didn't know there was an attraction. I see it is at MGM but where at MGM?

I didnt know about this either. My 2 older kids have seen the movie and read the books and love it. Where in MGM is this? And it is just a walk through exhibit type thing? Thanks for the info. We will have to check this out when we go in December.

As someone else mentioned, only go if there is no wait, I had no expectation going in, as I heard that I was pretty lame, and was actually surprised that it was THAT short......

The Narnia attraction is right by Millionaire at MGM. We are glad we did it. It would have been really great to walk through those wardrobe doors without being herded with a crowd of people, though. We took some pictures of the props, including the White Witch's sleigh. The kids point that out to everyone who looks at our photos.

I've done it a couple of times. The first time was around Christmas and it was very crowded. We were pretty much pushed out the door as soon as the trailer was over. I went back after the Christmas rush. I made sure I was the last one leaving the area where they show the trailer. I spent about ten minutes looking at all the props, taking pictures and chatting with the CMs. It was very nice. I really like the movie, so I don't mind watching the extended trailer.

My kids loved the movie. I hope it's still up when we go in Dec. Maybe they'll update it with any progress being made on Prince Caspian.

My sister, who has not seen the movie, didn't care for the Narnia set. On the other hand, I have read all the books and loved the movie and thought it was cool to walk through the wardrobe and see a recreation of the set. I do agree though that it isn't worth waiting around a long time for.
