Can someone tell me what this is about? My DD10 loves the movie and is very excited about anything Narnia. What type attraction is it and where is it in MGM?

Thanks!

Leslie

Its located down from where Who wants to be a Millionaire used to be.
Basically you walk in thru the wardrobe into a HUGE room that looks like a forest. There is a narrative and different characters come out ( they are animatronic) and give their spiel. Then you go into a room with actual props from the movie. DD loved it and it was interesting.. I loved the movie too!

Very simplistic.

You enter into a room which has the Wardrobe in it. The doors open up and you can step into "Narnia", which is another room decorated with trees and a white rug to look like snow, and the lamp post. There is a short scene of the White Witch (live CM) done in an area above you. After that, there is a walkthrough area with a few props from the movie.

Animatronic?? I don't remember any animatronics? Is that new?

This sounds like it's been updated since I saw it last year. The wardrobe and forest were the same, as was the room with the props. But when we saw it, there was just a movie screen in the forest that showed what was basically an extended trailer for the movie. I'm glad to see they've updated it because it was really very disappointing. The forest setting was amazing, but to be in that gorgeous setting and see a 10-minute compilation of movie clips was a real let down. We will have to check it out again in 2 weeks - I'm so glad I opened this thread!

OP -- if your DD loves Narnia, I'm sure she will love this attraction. It's very cool to see the actual props and costumes that were used in the movie. My only gripe last time with this part was that they kind of hurried you through that section before the next group of people got done with the movie. I hope they've changed that too, because I like to linger and admire all that neat stuff!

It seems like a hoax. They just want you to buy the movie, honestly, it was a complete waste of my time. I don't mean to complain...but it's like this: You walk through a wardrobe and STAND for 10 minutes watching a promo video...than you walk through a line with few props that just...arn't that interesting.
