Narcossee's vs Citricos please help!

We are going to Disney World this fall. Last fall we went to Narcoossee's and boy did we love it! I love lobster, I love crab cakes, and both were oooooh so good. The view was great as we got a window seat and my mother wants to go back to Narcoossee's again on this vacation. It is one of the few places she really really wants to eat at.

However, I have heard so many good things about Citrico's as well and have talked to her about this place. She says she is open to trying it if I want to... but I don't want to risk us being disappointed with the meal, or feeling like we should have gone back to Narcoossee's instead of trying something new.

What do you guys think? Narcoossee's vs Citrico's.

We are also eating at California Grill on this vacation if that weighs in in any way.

Can you fit in both? The cuisine is so different. Both are excellent.

Narcoossee's does have a better view.

But if you can only do one, I would stick with Narcoossee's since she enjoyed it so much and is anticipating a return.

Personally I wasn't a big fan of Narcossess. The lobster was good, service was okay but it didn't wow us at all. Citricos on the other hand was a great experience from apps to dessert. There were so many different things we wanted to try and the service was awesome. It was the best meal we've had at WDW. My parents went a couple of weeks ago and they totally agreed. They loved it.

I had to laugh when I read your post because we have always LOVED Citricos, and for our honeymoon next week , we are trying Narcoosee's for the first time, and I'm hoping I like it as much as my beloved Citricos!! I love the apmosphere there, not alot of kids, so pretty quiet (We drop off our kids at the Neverland Club,lol) excellent service and food each time we have gone. We go 2x per year........we love it!! Hopefully Narcoosee's wont do me wrong

Ive not been to either but I had to make this same decision a few days ago when doing my ADR's as it was one or the other

I chose Narcoosees in the end as the views look lovely and I wanted the surf and turf!

On the flip side im a great believer in trying things you havent done (within sensible reason of course ) so that side of me would have to say as you've done Narcoosees before, go for Citrico's this time!

But hey, they're both signature Disney restaurants so I would like to think that whichever you go for neither one will be a dissapointment

Narcoosees is one of our favorite places to go. The views are great and it is nice to go for a walk out on the deck after dinner. We try to time it to see Wishes and/or Electric Light Water Parade.

I'm going to be the odd person out and say that I didn't like Citricos. Our evening started out nice enough - the restaurant was quiet and there were lots of couples dining. Halfway through our meal, all the couples left and were replaced with tables that had lots of kids who weren't all that happy to be there (probably because it was the end of the day). It was a pretty high ratio of kids to adults and it felt like there were more kids than there were at the Crystal Palace lunch we had gone to. One of the kids was so cranky he yanked the table cloth causing everything to tumble and still, his parents kept him there - poor guy. To top it off, our waiter disappeared and we had a hard time getting any service after that.

FWIW, this was a couple of years ago and I suspect the restaurant was short staffed. Still, I don't think I'd be able to convince DFi to try it again. Oh well. On the bright side, that's been one of our only bad dining experiences at Disney.

Narcoosse's does have a view. But since you're going to the California Grill, that should take care of the view situation.
I'd pick Citrico's--better food in my opinion, better service also. Not that Narcoosee's is bad---just think Citrico's is better.
