Narcossee vs. GFC

Should I use up 2 TS credits on Narcossee or switch to GFC? Never eaten at either. The menu looks great at Narcossee, but I've read good reviews about GFC. Anyone eaten at both and have a preference?

we've eaten at both - several times, and like each, for different reasons

have had both lunch and dinner at GFC - more casual, lovely atmosphere, service was great, enjoyed the food (cobb salad, crab cakes, prime rib, shrimp at dinner) - mini desserts were delicious - twice we didn't need ADRs, were able to walk in - we'd definitely go back again

love love love narcoosees! - more of a "dress up" feel going there, wonderful views, excellent service, exceptional food: crab cakes, lobster, and the almond crusted cheesecake (in itself, worth the 2 TS!!)

We just ate at Narcoosees a couple of weeks ago and had a totally fantastic meal there. The tuna tartare was incredible, and I agree with the above poster that the cheesecake alone would be worth 2 credits! It's that good.

We ate at both when we were there in Sept. The service, food, and atmosphere at were good both . I had the lobster and the cheesecake at Narcoossee's.....yum! I think it was worth the 2 credits.

Narcoossee's is worth the 2 ts, do you feel like a fancy meal or casual one? The GFC is very casual. Both serve wonderful dishes, it's really what your in the mood for?

We got a sitter the night we went to Narcoossee's and celebrated my birthday. It was a special night out for us.

The GFC is not nearly as "special".

Narcoosee's has better food and atmosphere than GFC.

Narcoosees is awesome. I really cant say enough good things about this restaurant. Food was excellent - fresh and well cooked. The wait staff was also very attentive. We really enjoyed it.

We celebrated DH's 40th birthday at Narcoossee's in April. It was the best meal I've had in a very long time. I'd spend 2 TS credits there any day. We even took our DS 4 with us and he behaved just fine. The service was the best.

Narcoossee's is fine dining. Grand Floridian Cafe is an upscale coffee shop/diner. They both have good food, but the better food and service is at Narcoossee's.

Thanks. I think we will need a "nicer" dinner on our trip. I'll keep the Narc ressie

Narcossee's is sooooooooooooo nice. We loved it. The food was great and the service was even better.
