So I have seen the review on Cali Grill and was curious how Narcosees would compare. Last year we had resi's there and changed them for CG at the last minute. I fell in love with that place, however I am still very curious about Narcosees. Being at Grand Fl does it have that same classic disney feel that CG. Does the food compare? Any thought?

I'm interested in this also. We have done Cali Grill twice and LOVED it! But I recently read a Narcosees review that made me question my choice for May. I'm sure there can't be a "wrong" answer, but I'd love to hear others' opinions.

Hello from Lexington, KY Derby Girl! I think you're right....there can't be a wrong answer here which is why I booked Narcoossee's and CA Grill for September. Check out Cass's dining reviews. She went to both restaurants. She was on the platinum plan and is a seasoned traveler. You can count on her opinions.

We always dine at both. We really enjoy the atmosphere at Narcoosees - being on the water with a view towards MK and also CR. Very relaxing. The service is excellent and the menu is to our liking. Ask for a window table.

CA Grille has become our restaurant of choice for our last evening each trip. We make an ADR and arrive early requesting a window table. We've usually been fortunate enough to get a MK view, sometimes in time for Wishes. There are a lot of great views - even those away from the MK.

We usually get the filet and have our server suggest a wine to go with the meal ... and have never been disappointed. Wonderful menu, ambiance, service and meal!

We just did both in February.

While I still love CG, I have to say that our experience there was CHAOTIC!! It just seemed that people were standing everywhere, people were milling about more than I have ever seen, and sooo many children falling asleep at the tables waiting for mom and dad to see the fireworks.

We still LOVED the food - and surprisingly, so did our kids - they tried a few new things...loved seeing the fireworks, too. But...we've been three times, and I think next time, I'll go earlier and hope there is less chaos.

With Narcoosee's - our ressies were for 6:30 I believe and although the restaurant is known for it's terrible acoustics, I found the general atmosphere to be much less chaotic and more intimate, quaint and frankly, just a beautiful view that seemed much "closer".

LOVED the food here as well.

Hard choice - good luck!:)

Lexmelinda, thanks for the link to the dining review! What a dilemna?! How lucky could we be to have to make such a choice?!! I think we'll have to choose, because with 2 young DDS we would be pressing our luck trying to do both in one trip!
Just waiting for the first Saturday in May for the Derby and the last Saturday in May for WDW!!

I couldn't decide so I picked....Both!! :) They both look like great restaurants & I am soooo excited.
